Easter Fun

scowlfaceOkay, I'm done having my temper tantrum. A lot of what I said in my last post still stands, but to tell the truth without the internet I get incredibly bored. I like having a place to complain as well, so on that note...
I nearly drowned at the beach yesterday. This particular beach was a bit of a hike to get to, and I just underestimated how much that hike took out of me and how strong and frequent the waves were. I consider myself a strong swimmer, I swam a lot as a kid and swam for gym credit in highschool and had only one other time where I got into a little trouble, but fuck. I was not prepared for that at all. It's definitely one of the closest brushes with death I've had. Still a nice beach though.
My roommate/coworker has hooked up with a guy I don't particularly like, and so now he's hanging around the house 24/7. Great.
Still haven't found another nest. I'm a joke at this point.
Going to a party later this afternoon, but I'm thinking of bowing out. On the one hand, adult-themed Easter egg hunt might be fun, on the other... everything else. Bleh.
