/flops

I have been so, so lazy lately. Even worse because I've been bored and sad, but also not wanting to do anything that might help.

I have mustered up just enough energy to get most of my preparations for Hawaii done. I still have a few odds and ends left, but for the most part I'm ready. The biggest hurdle will be figuring out what I want to pack to take on the plane, and what I will mail to myself.

I did get an email from the field crew leader today, and she gave us all a bunch of papers to read before we come. Yay peer-reviewed literature on molt limits! All sarcasm aside, I am thankful to have something to read in the evenings, since I'm almost done with The Martian and I don't want to start something else before I leave.
